Richard Noffsinger, Chief Executive Officer
Richard Noffsinger has 20 years of information technology (IT) and healthcare experience. He previously served as president and chief operating officer of Amicore, Inc., a healthcare information technology company. Amicore was jointly founded by Microsoft, IBM, and Pfizer to serve physicians and clinical management by automating their practice and connecting them to patients, hospitals, payers, labs and pharmacies.
Prior to Amicore, Noffsinger served as group industry manager, worldwide healthcare market for the Microsoft Corporation, where he led the company’s business development team in healthcare. While he was at Microsoft, he directed the healthcare group’s revenue growth through acquisitions and strategic distribution partnerships with leading IT solution providers, including the joint launch of Amicore. He received his BA in Business Administration from The University of Washington in Seattle.
Ahmed F. Ghouri, M.D., Founder & Chief Medical Officer
Ahmed Ghouri, M.D. is a board certified anesthesiologist and principal author of 70 scientific publications. He served as co-investigator on the Phase III trials for FDA approved pharmaceutical products flumazenil (Romazicon) and desflurane (Suprane).
Ghouri served as an assistant clinical professor at the UC Irvine School of Medicine and held an attending anesthesiologist position at Cedars Sinai Medical Center, Beverly Hills, Calif. He received a medical degree from the Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, Mo., where he also completed a biomedical engineering research fellowship.
In addition, Dr. Ghouri co-founded AutoFusion, Inc., a leading provider of search technology for automotive e-commerce. Clients such as the American Automobile Association (AAA) and the nation’s largest automotive dealers use AutoFusion’s search and polling technology.
Raghu Sugavanam, Chief Technology Officer
Raghu Sugavanam has more than 25 years of experience in the software industry with a focus in deploying technology solutions for the direct marketing industry. He has managed the successful deployment of large-scale direct marketing database solutions for several Fortune 1000 companies in the healthcare, technology, finance and retail industries.
Sugavanam was the founder and president of Mercantile Software Systems, a developer of a high performance database marketing system. In 1997, Mercantile Software was acquired by leading direct marketing services company Harte-Hanks, Inc.
Sugavanam began his career at Engelhard Corporation, managing large systems projects for the company’s metal refining operations. He then went to AT&T, where he managed the design and implementation of the systems for billing and consumer marketing applications for millions of users. Sugavanam received a master’s degree in computer science from Rutgers University and a master’s degree in chemical engineering from Washington University in St. Louis, Mo. He is a graduate of the Indian Institute of Technology in Madras, India.
Chris Paddison, VP Sales & Marketing
Chris Paddison has over 20 years of healthcare and life sciences business experience as both a senior executive and strategic consultant. He served as vice president and global leader of A.T. Kearney’s Healthcare practice, where he provided strategic counsel to corporations specializing in pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, medical diagnostics and medical devices.
Paddison was also president of Essilor Laboratories, the largest optical lab network in the U.S. He received an MBA from Harvard Business School and a bachelor’s degree in commerce from Queens University.
Brad Herrick, Director of Marketing
Brad Herrick brings more than 15 years of experience building marketing strategies to his position. He served as the senior marketing director for the Iomega Corporation, developing intense branding and channel marketing programs that helped the company grow their revenue from $300 million to $1.8 billion in three years.
Herrick also served as vice president of marketing and product strategy for Vibe Solutions Group, where he helped cultivate the marketing and product teams for consumer video solutions sold through broadband partners. He received a bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of Missouri – Columbia in Columbia, Mo.
